Step 1
Slice mushrooms, dice onions and peppers then set aside.

Brown meat in portions and set aside in a cullender to drain fat.

Sauté onions peppers in a sauce pan for 2 minutes then stir in ground beef and seasonings.
Step 4
Add and stir in mushrooms, beans, chick peas, tomatoes and tomato paste.
Step 5
Bring to a medium boil then reduce heat to simmer.
Step 6
Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Step 7
Serve with Bannock, Garlic Bread, or crusty buns.
